Interested in a book study? Pathways to the Common Core is an insightful resource in gaining a better understanding of the ELA standards.
As we continue to work through the challenges of implementing the Common Core with the support of our new ELA curriculum, this text will provide us with a resource to gain a better understanding throughout the process. This short and easy-to-read text includes the "nuts and bolts" of the reading and writing standards and implications for instruction.
I'd like to recommend this book as a book study to allow for oportunities to have conversations and discussions that will only support our instructional practices and at the same time helping our students grow as readers and writers.
